San Benito, an elite section team, shockingly falls out of the Mercury Top 15 for the first time this decade.
- 3/11/2005 Notre Dame takes Gold Division; San Benito Silver; Watsonville Bronze Live Oak High School celebrates the 14th year of the Live Oak Circle of Champions softball tournament, played in honor of Annie Lynch and the American Cancer Society. 32 of the top teams in the Central Coast Section will be competing for three Circle of Champions tournament titles. This has become one of the most prestigious tournaments held in the Central Coast Section and Northern California.
