- 6/10/2007 As Compiled by the San Jose Mercury CCS Division I champion San Benito finishes at #2 the the final San Jose Mercury News CCS Softball Top 15. The southern CCS claims 6 of the final top 9 spots: San Benito (#2), Gilroy (#5), Notre Dame (#6), Watsonville (#7), Stevenson (#8), and Soquel (#9). Salinas also receives recognition at #15.

- 3/6/2007 Pool Play Begins Friday, March 9th Live Oak is hosting the 16th Annual Circle of Champions Softball tournament March 9th, 10th, 16th and 17th at the Salinas Sports Complex. This is the premier area high school softball tournament of the year. We have 24 Varsity teams from San Francisco to Monterey. The top teams are always in it. And it deals with a much greater cause than winning a game--the ups and downs of life--and cancer...our team realizes this and is proud to work hard and give back...
