    Notre Dame maintains its wire-to-wire grip on #1 in this week's San Jose Mercury CCS softball rankings. Live Oak drops 1 spot to #7; Monterey (#9) and San Benito (#10) hold steady; Watsonville moves up 2 spots to #13; North Salinas drops 3 spots to #15.

Watsonville appears at #15.

North Salinas move up 2 spots to #5; Live Oak debuts at #6; Monterey moves up 3 spots to #9; Carmel drops 2 spots to #11. San Benito, an elite section team, shockingly falls out of the Mercury Top 15 for the first time this decade.

  • LIVE OAK CIRCLE OF CHAMPIONS SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT - 3/11/2005
    Notre Dame takes Gold Division; San Benito Silver; Watsonville Bronze

    Live Oak High School celebrates the 14th year of the Live Oak Circle of Champions softball tournament, played in honor of Annie Lynch and the American Cancer Society. 32 of the top teams in the Central Coast Section will be competing for three Circle of Champions tournament titles. This has become one of the most prestigious tournaments held in the Central Coast Section and Northern California.
