Sidney Esparza dominated in the circle Tuesday, tossing five no-hit innings to lead Hollister to a 5–1 victory over Central East.
Hollister struck first in the opening inning when Sophia Galindo doubled to drive in a run. The Haybalers added more in the second as Nevaeh Charles raced around the bases for a two-run inside-the-park home run.
Avery Chavez sparked the offense from the leadoff spot, going a perfect 3-for-3 while swiping four bases as Hollister kept pressure on the basepaths.
Charles and Galindo each drove in two runs, while Kaliyah Ceja finished the game in relief as Hollister secured the win with a clean defensive effort.
