After a weekend marked by dominant pitching and a barrage of home runs, Hollister closed out its four-game tournament slate Saturday with a 13–0 victory over Hoover.

The Haybalers had already flexed their power earlier in the weekend with multiple long balls against Bullard and Kingsburg, and they continued to produce offense in the finale. Hollister jumped ahead in the first inning when Isabel Gonzalez drove in a run and Madalyne Rodriguez followed with a two-run single.

The lead quickly grew in the second as Avery Chavez doubled home two runs and later scored after tagging up, while Rodriguez added a sacrifice fly. Chavez finished with four RBIs to lead the lineup, while Emma Aguilera added to the weekend’s home run total with a two-run blast in the fourth.

Kaliyah Ceja handled the work in the circle with three scoreless innings before Bella Casas closed out the shutout, sealing Hollister’s strong finish to a weekend that featured dominant pitching and plenty of power at the plate.
