Kelsie Domenighini’s Big Day Propels Salinas Varsity Cowboys Past North Salinas Kelsie Domenighini collected three hits in four at bats, as Salinas Varsity Cowboys defeated North Salinas 7-3 on Friday. Domenighini hit a solo home run to left field in the sixth inning, tripled in the seventh inning, and singled in the second inning. North Salinas got on the board in the first inning after Hailey Morrell grounded out, scoring one run. Gigi Rossi singled to left field, which helped Salinas Varsity Cowboys tie the game at one in the top of the fifth. North Salinas took the lead in the bottom of the fifth.
