The Kiwanis Club of Salinas is pleased to announce the 19th Annual North-South All-Star Basketball Classic will be held on Saturday, April 9 at Hartnell College. The game will involve the top-graduating seniors from the Tri-County (Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Monterey) area playing their first college format basketball game. The girls will play at 6:00 p.m. with the boys at 7:45 p.m.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Kiwanis Club of Salinas and Sunrise House, a youth/family counseling/crisis center in Salinas, which deals with alcohol and other drug related problems.
