Kelsie Domenighini collected three hits in three at bats, as Salinas Varsity Cowboys defeated Casa Grande Varsity Lady Gauchos 5-2 on Tuesday. Domenighini doubled in the third inning, tripled in the second inning, and tripled in the sixth inning.

Casa Grande Varsity Lady Gauchos opened the scoring in the top of the second thanks to two ground outs. Casa Grande Varsity Lady Gauchos first got on the board when Evelyn Baca grounded out, scoring one run.

Salinas Varsity Cowboys jumped into the lead in the bottom of the third when Lila Partridge induced Ava Thompson to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, and Domenighini doubled, scoring two runs.

Abi Jones earned the win for Salinas Varsity Cowboys. The pitcher gave up four hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out seven and walking three. Partridge took the loss for Casa Grande Varsity Lady Gauchos. The hurler went six innings, giving up five runs (one earned) on five hits, striking out five and walking one.

Baca and Maeve Broadhead were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Casa Grande Varsity Lady Gauchos. Partridge, Lauren Ketchu, Alex Giacomini, and Molly Gallagher each collected one hit for Casa Grande Varsity Lady Gauchos.
