Lopez allowed seven hits and two runs over eight innings while walking one. Alisal Varsity Trojans won thanks in part to six runs in the eighth inning. Carmelina Esquivias singled, scoring one run, Iliana Cruz grounded out, scoring one run, Ameryse Thatcher doubled, scoring one run, Aaliyah Ruiz was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, and an error scored two runs. Alisal Varsity Trojans opened the scoring in the second after Vivica Castañeda singled, scoring one run. Alisal Varsity Trojans took the lead in the top of the sixth. An error scored one run, to give Alisal Varsity Trojans the advantage, 2-1. Alisal Varsity Trojans committed an error, which helped King City tie the game at two in the bottom of the seventh.
