| It was a very close game but Gonzales edged PG by beating them 3-2 tonight. In a hard fought game, where PG's Sweeper and Left back got injured, Gonzales and PG both played a solid game. In addition, both goalies (PG's Griffin) recorded 11 saves each. Gonzales scored first with a goal (10 min) from Verdusco. PG followed up with a goal from JT Salazar (assist from Tariq Ahmad). Five minutes later, Gon went up 2-1 with a goal from Roman. In the second half, Gon scored its 3rd goal on a beatiful 35 yard freekick by Oscar. Just before the end of the game, after 10 min of pressure, PG scored again. JT scored his second goal, assist from Matt Spade (Matt's 10th assist). PG is 8-4-1 in MTAL and plays @ Greenfield next Tuesday. |
