Salinas High girls soccer opened their league play at the Pit with a 2-0 victory over San Benito. Both goals were scored in the second half. The first goal was scored in the 57th minute by Taylor Burbank and was assisted by Alondra Partida. The second goal was scored in the 65th minute by Kimi Chin and was assisted by Alexa Aguirre. Salinas' goal keeper, Isabella Perez, was awarded the shut out. Salinas improves to 1-0 in league and 4-3-3 over all. Salinas will next travel to Christopher on Friday, January 6th. |
