| Salinas High girls soccer hosted Santa Cruz this evening at the Pit. The Salinas Cowboys won with a score of 5-1. Santa Cruz scored their lone goal in the 1st minute. It was 1-1 at halftime. Salinas High's Brooke Oleson had a hat trick, Megan Hertzog had a goal and an assist, Taylor Burbank had a goal, Valeria Tellez had two assists, and Kimi Chin had an assist. Kacie Buck was also awarded an assist. Goalkeeper, Sophia Tellez, had a total of 4 saves. Salinas will be playing this weekend in the San Marcos Tournament in Santa Barbara. Their next home game will be their season opener against Christopher on January 6th. |
