| Salinas High Girls Soccer opened their preseason by hosting Valley Christian of San Jose. Valley Christian won 2-1. The first goal was scored by Valley Christian in the 17th minute. In the 54th minute Brooke Oleson was fouled in the box and Salinas was awarded a penalty kick. Alondra Partida capitalized on the pk and Brooke Oleson was awarded the assist. Valley Christian scored the game winning goal in the 78th minute. Keeper, Sophia Tellez had a total of 6 saves. Salinas will next host Santa Clara on Saturday, December 5 |
