Salinas Notes and Quotes
Salinas High girls soccer hosted Alvarez and came out with a 3-0 victory. Cynthia Camacho scored in the 3rd minute on a penalty kick. She also scored their second goal in the 25th minute off an assist by Brittany Tibbs. Valeria Tellez scored the third and final goal off an assist by Ashley Tibbs in the 48th minute. Cynthia Camacho was once again dominate from her center defensive mid position. Salinas High out-shot their opponents 21-4. Goal Keeper, Sophia Tellez, had a total of 4 saves. Salinas High is now 2-0 in the MBL Gabilan League and they have an over-all record of 3-1-1. They next host Notre Dame on Wednesday, 1/14/15.
