Stevenson Notes and Quotes
Stevenson defeated Pacific Grove 2-1 on a mild evening at Breaker Stadium. The Pirates began the scoring in the 20th minute on a 20 yard goal by Drew Miller off of a feed by Ben Rembetski. Stevenson led 1-0 at the half. PG came on strong at the beginning of the second half and had several good chances, after which they netted the equalizer in the 50th minute. The Pirates scored the game winner on a Drew Miller header off of a well placed corner kick from Jonathan Postel. Stevenson (10-4-3, 6-4-3) plays their final regular season game next Tuesday against King City.
