| The Salinas High Girls Soccer team hosted their first preseason game tonight against Valley Christian. Salinas High held the power house private school scoreless in the first half. Valley Christian ended up winning the match 3-0. The first goal came in the 65th minute. Valley Christian was awarded, and capitalized on, a penalty kick in the 67th minute. The final goal was scored in the 73rd. minute. Salinas High's goalie, Sophia Tellez, made a total of 6 saves. Salinas High next hosts Saint Francis CC of Watsonville on Thursday night. |
