| PG Breakers hosted first place and undefeated Greenfield tonight to a packed stadium (not). Co-captain Callum Gilchrist was the man of the match with two goals form distance and the third assist to Luca Talone. Shawn Christopher assisted Gilchrist with his only assisted goal. PG started strong and kept up the pressure throughout the game, using their deep, quality bench and the return of captain and sweeper Daniel Giovinzzo. Greenfield responded to each of the first two goals but the final goal was the Breakers. PG is now 9-3-2 overall and 3-2-1 league. The Breakers travel to second place, Soledad next Thursday. |
