Anzar Notes and Quotes
The Hawks scored the first goal with Sara Chatley getting the honor of scoring on the #10 ranked area team (as of rankings 1/22/06). Anzar played the best game of the season -- were it not for a questionable PK call against Anzar, which RLS converted in the second half, and a Alex Brown goal nullified by a questionable offside call, the young Hawks side would have had another "W" or at least a "T" in their league record.

Defensively, the stellar play of Seniors Sarah Wisotsky (GK -- 15 saves) and Sweeper Annette Helsley (3 saves off the goal line) kept Anzar firmly in the game -- keeping MTAL leading scorer Kelli Okuji to just a penalty kick conversion in the second half.
