The SCCAL final game was played at Depot Field in Santa Cruz under rainy skies and wet field conditions. The game was played in bad weather and on a wet soggy turf. Santa Cruz scored in the 3rd minute of the game when senior Cesar Aguilar raced free on a break away and scored after the assist from senior Shakaim Redrovan. Santa Cruz scored in the 40th minute when freshman John Chronopoulos scored the goal after the assist from freshman Tanner Akol. Santa Cruz had 5 shots on goal the first half while Aptos had 2 shots on goal. The half ended - Santa Cruz 2 to Aptos 0. The second half started out with Aptos scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Santa Cruz scored in the 57th minute when senior Cesar Aguilar shot in the goal after an assist from freshman John Chronopoulos. Santa Cruz scored in the 73rd minute when freshman Giovanni Giattino fired the ball through the goalies hands after the assist from freshman Slater Meehan.
