The second half opened with King City taking a more defensive stance, and denying the Cougars much penetration. Shots were limited for the first 20 minutes or so, until King City, looking a little tired and frustrated, began to feel the threats from Kate, Daniela and Blair. They and others had numerous attempts, but were unable to find the net.

Although tired from 80 minutes of playing on a very muddy field, the Cougars were happy with their opening game.
