Right away in the second half they stole possession from North Salinas, and again launched a barrage of shots! The Viking's goalie continued to deny almost every attempt from the Cougars, with a total of 12 shots on the Viking's goal in the second half.

Daniela Aiello finished of a great combination from Blair Evans and Kate Wright to tie the game in the 44th minute. The Cougar's backs fought off several spirited attacks from the Vikings until the 75th minute when Jackie Gollette delivered a well placed ball to Blair Evans, who drove it into the net to seal the game!

Despite the Cougar's dominance, this was a nail biting game to the very end. It was a reminder that in the game of soccer, the only thing that counts is putting the ball in the opponent's net. This time around, the Cougars had a well deserved, albeit narrow victory.
