The boys gave up a goal early in the opening from a direct kick w/in the box. But later on in the first seemed to tie the match as the ball appeared to cross the goal line @ least twice in a scarmble in front of the Gilroy goal mouth, but was not allowed. Strong intestional fortitude by the "boys " who stayed the course w/ determined play . Exemplary play by : Frankie Monsivais, Kody Fudenna ,Ben Vargas Aaron Alvarez. In the nets ,Luis Ruiz was "Sick" as he turned away many attemps. Kevin Baker , Iasias Abonce and Jose Montenegro worked hard to control the midfield.Mathias Feimer and Daniel Wheaton gave Gilroy all they could handle up front.A great match ... not for the faint of heart.
