Santa Catalina Cougars dominated from the kick-off, with Meredith sending in a corner in the 4th minute for Blair to head into the net. By 17 minutes into the game, the Cougars were up 5-0. Blair scored again, this time from a pass from Danielle. April scored off a pass from Ryann, Meredith found the net off a ball from Kate and then Kate scored from a combination play with Ryann and Danielle. We gave all our subs playing time, finishing the half 5 goals up.

Meredith made a strong statement opening the second half by scoring off a ball from Ryann in the 41st minute. Sarah Luksik took a deep ball from Laura to score in the 45th minute. Danielle worked the ball through to Kate to make it 8-0 in the 60th minute. 5 minutes later, a quick throw in from Maggie had Kate setting the ball up for Ryann to score. Danielle had the final goal in the 71st minute from a goalie deflected cross from Ryann.

The refs tried to give Greenfield some breaks, even calling a PK against the Cougars in the second half. April make a great save (- Sarah Wright was out today).

The Cougars looked in fine form, working to keep focused for CCS playoffs in a couple of weeks.
