Meredith opened the scoring in the 14th minute of an indirect freekick inside the penalty area, after the Soledad goalie picked up a backpass from one of her players.

Santa Catalina launched a barrage of shots (15) for the rest of the half, but could put none in the net! Shelby Carroll in goal never touched the ball.

Soledad refused to quit, and held off the Cougars until the 53rd minute when Sarah Wright sored of a pass from Kendall. In the next seven minutes Ryann, Sarah Wright (again) and April all scored, with assists from Courtney and Meredith. Shots continued with Kate Wright scoring in the 72nd minute.
