In the 45th minute the referee disallowed a goal from Meredith claiming it was offside. Unfortunately, his record for making sound calls was in doubt from the earlier JV match! 11 minutes later Meredith definitively scored off a pass from Ryann, and the Cougars could relax a little. In the final minute, Ryann took possession from a P.G. goal kick, beat a couple of players and drove it into the back of the net to signal another solid victory for Santa Catalina.

It was a solid team effort with the final score failing to reflect the effort put in by everyone. The officiating could definitely have been better, but we lacked a copy of the rule book to show him the error of some of his decisions!

The P.G. Goalkeeper should be commended for making many spectacular saves - the best keeper that Santa Catalina has been up against so far this season
