| Pajaro Valley Grizzlies Break It Open Early In 15–3 Win Over Seaside Pajaro Valley wasted no time taking control Friday, rolling past Seaside 15–3 behind a strong start at the plate. The Grizzlies jumped ahead in the first inning when Hemeria delatorre tripled to drive in two runs before a passed ball added another. Pajaro Valley kept the pressure on in the second with RBI singles from Luna Gonzalez and Annabell Ybarra, then added three more runs in the third to build a commanding lead. Delatorre also handled the work in the circle, allowing just one hit over four and two-thirds innings while striking out five as Pajaro Valley stayed firmly in control. Ybarra and Olivia Contreras each recorded two hits to lead the offense, while delatorre finished with three RBIs. The Grizzlies also showed patience at the plate with 11 walks and added five stolen bases to keep the pressure on throughout the game. |
