North Salinas took control early and never looked back in an 11-1 win Thursday at home.
The Vikings opened the scoring in the first on a pair of groundouts, including an RBI from Audri Palmer. They extended the lead in the third when Iliana Perez lifted a sacrifice fly and Abril Sanchez delivered a three-run double.
A five-run fourth inning put the game out of reach, highlighted by Palmer’s two-RBI double along with run-scoring walks from Audri Esquivel and Clarissa Corona.
Perez earned the win in the circle, allowing one unearned run over five innings while striking out four. Palmer finished 2-for-3 with three RBIs as North Salinas worked five walks and stole four bases in the victory.
