Sidney Esparza put together a dominant all-around performance Friday, hitting two home runs and driving in four runs to lead Hollister to an 11–1 victory over Bullard.

Hollister jumped ahead early in the first inning when Madalyne Rodriguez doubled in a run before Esparza launched a two-run homer to center. The Haybalers kept the pressure on in the third as Isabel Gonzalez doubled and Rodriguez drove in another run during a three-run frame.

Esparza struck again in the fourth, blasting her second two-run homer of the game to extend Hollister’s lead to 9–1.

She also earned the win in the circle, allowing just two hits and one unearned run over six innings. Rodriguez, Gonzalez, and Ashlee Lo each added two hits as Hollister finished with 12 hits and five stolen bases in the victory.
