Addison Boles powered Monte Vista Christian to a dominant 17–0 victory over Pajaro Valley on Friday, delivering three hits and four RBIs to lead the Mustangs’ offensive outburst.
Monte Vista Christian wasted little time jumping ahead in the first inning as Boles doubled home two runs before Sophia Lopez and Juliana Lopez each added RBIs to build an early lead. Boles struck again in the second with another RBI double, and Ava Alvarado followed with a run-scoring triple.
The Mustangs broke the game wide open in the third, erupting for 10 runs highlighted by a bases-clearing triple from Addison Silva that brought home four. Aubrianna Schmidt, Gianna Calomeni, and Silva helped spark the rally from the bottom half of the lineup.
Juliana Lopez started in the circle and allowed just two hits over three scoreless innings before Silva finished the shutout with two hitless frames and six strikeouts. Boles and Lopez each collected three hits as Monte Vista Christian combined patience and power to secure the run-rule win.
