Kiersten Jara, Santa Clara commit, Throws Shutout As Palma Defeats Alisal 5–0 Kiersten Jara delivered a dominant performance Thursday, tossing a complete-game shutout to lead Palma to a 5–0 victory over Alisal. Palma struck early when Ashlyn Urmanita stole home in the first inning. The Chieftains added to the lead in the third when Jara helped her own cause with a two-run double. Jara controlled the game in the circle from start to finish, keeping Alisal off the scoreboard while Palma’s defense backed her with a clean game in the field. At the plate, Jara drove in two runs from the middle of the lineup, while Keilani Pato-Guardado added two hits. Urmanita also created pressure on the bases with two stolen bases as Palma secured the win.
