Lizbeth Ramirez collected three hits in four at bats, as Everett Alvarez Varsity Eagles defeated St. Ignatius College Preparatory Varsity Wildcats 9-1 on Saturday. Ramirez singled in the fifth inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and singled in the third inning.

Dani Amendola struck out 12 batters on the day. The pitcher also gave up six hits and one run over seven innings while walking one.

Everett Alvarez Varsity Eagles were the first to get on the board in the second when Bella Hanson doubled, scoring one run.

A ground out by Amaris Perez, and a single by Hanson helped Everett Alvarez Varsity Eagles extend their early lead in the third.

Everett Alvarez Varsity Eagles scored five runs on three hits in the top of the fifth inning. Hanson doubled, scoring one run, Marcella Neito drew a walk, scoring one run, and Ramirez singled, scoring three runs.

Cassidy Chew took the loss for St. Ignatius College Preparatory Varsity Wildcats. The hurler went five innings, allowing nine runs (two earned) on eight hits, striking out two and walking one.

Ramirez and Hanson each collected three hits for Everett Alvarez Varsity Eagles. Hanson went 3-for-4 at the plate and led the team with four runs batted in. Amendola collected two hits for Everett Alvarez Varsity Eagles in four at bats. Everett Alvarez Varsity Eagles didn't commit a single error in the field. Michelle Wallace had the most chances in the field with 12.

Delilah Berry, Sasha Vassar, Olivia Dollard, Gianna Galarza, Annabelle Pigoski, and Julie Galarza each collected one hit for St. Ignatius College Preparatory Varsity Wildcats. Dollard led St. Ignatius College Preparatory Varsity Wildcats with one run batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-3 on the day.
