Sofie Seese stepped in the circle first for Scotts Valley Varsity Falcons. The lefty surrendered five hits and three runs over six innings, striking out four and walking two.

Alvarez drove the middle of the lineup, leading Gilroy Varsity Mustangs with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Mendoza led Gilroy Varsity Mustangs with two hits in three at bats.

Gracie Delgado went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Scotts Valley Varsity Falcons were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Jazzy Phillips had the most chances in the field with eight.
