Olivia Sickels hit two home runs and drove in three as Los Gatos Varsity Wildcats defeated Wilcox Varsity Chargers 6-4 on Tuesday. Sickels homered in the sixth and third innings.

Los Gatos Varsity Wildcats rallied for the victory despite trailing 4-0 in the first.

Wilcox Varsity Chargers got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Tyler Scott doubled, scoring three runs, and Michela Quillinan singled, scoring one run.

Los Gatos Varsity Wildcats scored one run in the top of the third on a solo home run to right field by Sickels.

Ria Sharma singled to center field, which helped Los Gatos Varsity Wildcats tie the game at four in the top of the fourth.

Los Gatos Varsity Wildcats took the lead in the top of the sixth. Sickels homered to center field, scoring two runs, to give Los Gatos Varsity Wildcats the leg up, 6-4.

Brooke Rivera stepped in the circle first for Wilcox Varsity Chargers. The left-handed pitcher allowed six hits and four runs (three earned) over four innings, striking out four and walking none. Ava Norquist appeared in relief for Los Gatos Varsity Wildcats.

Sickels and Tessa Lilienstein each collected two hits for Los Gatos Varsity Wildcats.

Scott provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Wilcox Varsity Chargers with three runs batted in. The third baseman went 1-for-4 on the day. Sami Bianchi, Quillinan, and Scott each collected one hit for Wilcox Varsity Chargers. Wilcox Varsity Chargers turned two double plays in the game.
