Greenfield Varsity Bruins scored seven runs on four hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Y Hermandez singled, scoring one run, K Nunez drew a walk, scoring one run, C Zavala singled, scoring one run, I Figuora doubled, scoring two runs, and an error scored two runs.

Seven more Carmel Varsity Padres runs crossed the plate in the fifth inning to extend the lead to 21-10. Banton doubled, scoring one run, Grace Grahl singled, scoring one run, an error scored two runs, Natalia Ymata homered to center field, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run.

Grahl earned the win for Carmel Varsity Padres. The righty gave up four hits and three runs over four innings, striking out four and walking two. Zavala took the loss for Greenfield Varsity Bruins. The starter went five innings, giving up 21 runs (10 earned) on 22 hits, striking out two and walking four. Avery Houston appeared in relief for Carmel Varsity Padres.
