Greenfield Varsity Bruins won big over Santa Catalina 16-3 on Monday.

Greenfield Varsity Bruins got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after itzel jimenez drew a walk, scoring one run, Isabella Figuora drew a walk, scoring one run, Marissa Castillo singled, scoring one run, Nathalie Soto singled, scoring one run, Aniah Helm drew a walk, scoring one run, Yara Hernandez doubled, scoring two runs, and Krystal Nuñez doubled, scoring one run.

A walk by Ashely Zavala, and a ground out by Helm helped Greenfield Varsity Bruins extend their early lead in the second.

Butler homered to center field, scoring two runs in the top of the third for the Santa Catalina.

Figuora led Greenfield Varsity Bruins with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing 10 walks for the game. Nuñez, Figuora, Zavala, Hernandez, and Castillo each stole multiple bases for Greenfield Varsity Bruins. Greenfield Varsity Bruins stole 28 bases in the game.
