    Notre Dame's Kim Reeder and Lindsay Schutzler are both named to the Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association 2003 All-American Team, honoring the top 48 high school softball players in the nation.

    Four local players garner All-State honors from the prestigious Cal-Hi Sports publication. Congratulations to North Salinas' Monica Abbott for being named Large School State Player of the Year, and to Notre Dame's Kim Reeder for being named Small School State Player of the Year.     Notre Dame's Kim Reeder is named CCS Softball Player of the Year by the San Jose Mercury. North Salinas ace Monica Abbott is named CCS Senior of the Year. Lindsay Schutzler (Notre Dame), Melissa Pura (Notre Dame), and Jenny Maheu (Hollister) are named to the All-CCS First Team.

  • Seventh Annual Watsonville High Varsity Softball Tournament - 4/21/2003
    FINAL ROUND SATURDAY, APRIL 26th; BRACKETS NOW POSTED

    Twenty four teams from the Central Coast Section will participate in the Seventh Annual Watsonville High Varsity Softball Tournament. Pool play begins Saturday, April 19th; the championship single elimination round will be held Saturday, April 26th. Local participants moving on to the the single elimination final round include Watsonville, Carmel, Hollister, Aptos, Notre Dame, Soquel, Monterey, Gilroy, Pacific Grove, Salinas, and Live Oak.
